Michelle Malkin needs serious help

June 21, 2009

I just don’t understand why people do what they do sometimes.  Look at the two pictures below.

While the streets burn, and the people of Iran fight and struggle toward freedom, Michelle Malkin would like you all to know that she cares deeply for them.  So much so, that she couldn’t pass up an opportunity to crudely exploit their plight to level a disgusting cheap shot at President Obama.  The post, which can be read here, is riveting and harrowing to say the least.  The story of the young woman named Neda, with accompanying video, speaks louder than any of us ever could about the necessity for democracy and change in Iran.   Ms. Malkin then decides to make some crude type of juxtaposition.  So… she’s implying that while people were dying in the streets, the President was eating ice cream?  Right.  What were you doing Michelle?  I’m sure you were on the front lines in Tehran with your sharp wit and your biting cynicism.  Please get over yourself.  The pictures above are just Michelle’s way of letting us all know who she really is.  Just another empty voice in the wilderness, with no real answers to the world’s problems, and even less depth.  What a waste.

Anything the right can use in a feeble attempt to smear Obama, they think is OK and will do it without pause.

I’m inclined to agree. We’re seeing some pretty disgusting stuff out there. And to think, he’s only been in office for 5 months!

Eating ice cream and playing golf. Well, it wasn’t like he was meeting with advisors and counselors, trying how best to help these people. Frankly, I don’t thinks he gives a damn about them, or anyone, only about how to get votes to stay in power. Case in point: do you think he cares about black kids? Then how come he denied funding (a measly $15 million) for the Washington DC charter school for underpriveledged kids?

First of all, stay on task here. How do you equate how he spends father’s day weekend, with him not caring about the people of Iran? Is he not supposed to do something relaxing as the President of the United States, on father’s day weekend? What, is he not allowed to eat ice cream? I guess that’s only reserved for forward thinking folks like yourself and Michelle Malkin, who are always on the right side of the argument. I think that’s pretty juvenile, and she should be ashamed of herself. There are better ways to make a point then that. As far as your comment about charter schools, I agree with you on one point. I’m all for giving children an opportunity to learn in any capacity and environment. Charter schools provide substantive learning in a nurturing environment. You lose me when you tell me that he doesn’t care about black kids. Again, you cannot equate the two. Neither one of us know the man enough to know that do we?
